Sci Fi - What I'm Reading
For my science fiction choice, I decided to reading somethings from the teen collection. I narowed my choice down to two titles and then couldn't decide which one to read, so I am reading them simultaneously. The titles are Life as We Knew It by Pfeffer (focusing on climate change) and Turnabout by Haddix (the theme has to do with the reversal of aging and inevitable death). They look good!

I'm going with Joe Haldeman's "Accidental Time Machine". I wanted to get something more current and I've always had a soft-spot for Time Travel. Plus, Haldeman's an established writer in the genre, so if I like ATM, I'll feel comfortable receommending other works by him too.
I decided to read The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. While not traditional Sci-fi (no sci-fi sticker) it is a story of a man you jumps around time with little control. He usually jumps to a time before or after where he is at in the present and often runs into himself in that time. It is a love story as well as look at how he copes and works to survive. Fantastic and moving book!
