This book is pretty rockin.
Katsa is born in a world where some people are born with special powers called Graces. Early in life, she is lead to believe that her talent is for killing, and so her uncle, the king foreces her to use her talent for his (sometimes evil deeds). Katsa rebells against him however and forms an underground band known only as the Council who work to undo grevious wrongs done by ruthless kings and rulers. Her Council days draw to an end however, when she meets the graced prince (from a different kingdom) Po who helps her to realize to break fully from her uncle once and for all. Po has a terrible secret of his own, however, one and may detroy them. But then again Katsa's Grace may not be just what she thought either.
Katsa is fierce, independent and a killing machine. If I were 16 I would want to be just like her.
