How I got to be perfect by Jean Kerr.

I read about this author on the non-fiction book blog Citizen reader (http://www.citizenreader.com/) I tried really hard to like this book, but the humor seemed really dated (the copyright is 1978). I didn't really have a context to put a lot of the 'situational' humor in the book, but perhaps an older person who lived through that era might find it more humorous.
